Swiss government authorities have changed their guidelines for vaccinating pregnant women and small children and are recommending a "swine flu" jab without adjuvants, according to a report in the Tages-Anzeiger.
Joachim Gross from the Swiss drug regulators, Swissmedic, said: "Because there is insufficient clinical data for the vaccines, especially for children and pregnant women, we will give concrete vaccination recommendations."
Head doctor Pietro Vernazza from the Canton Hospital St. Gallen injected himself with the AS03 adjuvant from GSK as part of a study said: "You can feel that. Your arm hurts. It's hard to sleep at night. In some cases there can be fever. Some people have problems working for a few days."
The decision by the Swiss government to drop adjuvants from the "swine flu" vaccines for pregnant women and small children comes amid a storm of protest in Germany at the use of the untested and toxic ingredients under the pretext of a pandemic emergency.
