The Union of Doctors in Private Practice on Reunion, an island off the east coast of Africa with more than 800,000 inhabitants that counts as a French overseas department, have said that they are against mass « swine flu » vaccinations.
The union, representing 1,200 doctors, including specialists and GPs, is appealing to othe health professionals not to follow orders « blindly » from French Health Minister Roselyne Bachelot to implement a mass vaccination programme also in schools.
The union urges health professionals not to take financial inducements or bow to other forms of pressure to abandon current safety practices
