I was 43 when I fathered my son and he was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder one year ago.

We can speculate about many reasons, for instance, why there are more autistic sons among engineers and IT fathers?
I can only be sure that in South America, a kid of an older father is perfectly normal and inclusive it is well known than fathers over 60 have children w/o problems. The link must be found in industrialized countries... environment, food habits, chemicals, etc...
